Well, my Cube A Libre arrived yesterday, the props themselves are GORGEOUS, and EXTREMELY WELL MADE, however, I ordered this, as advertised on the Hocus Pocus Website, in MINT Condition, yet the instructions were missing a couple of pages.

Mint to me means EVERYTHING IN PERFECT CONDITION. So, at first, I was a bit perturbed, but, the good news is, friends in Magic help each other out, so, please allow me to thank my friend David Seebach, who sent me a copy of his routine, which is beautiful, brilliant, and extremely well-thought out and crafted!!!

Thank you David Seebach!

This is one terrific magic routine!!!

Still, make sure you notify Hocus Pocus of their blunder. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, as I've always had great luck with them. I think they may just be victims of their own success, and not having the time and/or staff to make up for this busy time of year. They probably saw the instructions, and never thought to make sure they were complete. Just assumed the kit as a whole was all there. No excuse...but none the less they should know so they are aware of this in the future.

Thank you for the advice, Wizard of Oz, I will call them tomorrow to mention this to them.

I have always heard that they were a very good and reputable Magic establishment, that's part of the reason I ordered from them.

I'm still pretty blown away by the quality of this prop.........its very, very clever....I just need the time to make the sequence of moves second nature for me.

Big fan of cube a libre. The visuals are amazing. I've been on the fence with Gimpy's old time vs his 3 cube. Probably can't beat the standard size, but does anyone have experience using the small one as opposed to the regular version?

Thanks CHRIS

Well, based on Wizard of Oz's advice, I contacted Hocus Pocus.

Guess what.... they E-Mailed me a COMPLETE set of instructions as a PDF file.

One thing to think about when contemplating performing this trick is whether or not you work solo or with an assistant. I work solo, and yes, that does have a major effect on the presentation you will be doing.

Personally, I think it's a bit more challenging working solo doing this trick as it requires a little bit more thought to do a smooth and seemingly effortless yet entertaining presentation.

I have always performed the Cube-A-Libre solo and I would not know how to use an assistant, how would it play?

Shortly after I received my Cube a Libre from Hocus Pocus, I contacted my friend David Seebach who graciously sent me his routine. David uses an assistant for this trick, and his routine is well thought out and plays beautifully.

Rainboguy;

Thanks for the information that the Cube-A-Libra can be performed with an assistant; unfortunately David Seebach is not my friend and may not want to share a performance with me just because I asked, I believe you when you say that his routine is well thought out and plays beautifully.
