I am about halfway through the series and I noticed that Harris likes to mix it up a lot and throw money into his tricks. For those of you who have read the series or any of Paul's products, what was your favorite money/coin trick?

Mine SO FAR:
-Counterfeit Spectator
-Lip Balm
-Buck Naked (if I want to lose 4 dollars Smile )

I’m a bartender so I like to pull the old chocolate coin on them as I hand them back their quarter. They look, scratch, tap, pry… they love it!

Can't remember the name, and not sure if it counts, but I like the one where the impression of a coin in silver foil changes from heads to tails

I think that 'Giant Killer Coin 'is a very good effect.

I've been practicing Quarter Caper from AoA 2; from what I've read, it seems like it might play well. Does anyone else here perform this effect?

Can somebody tell me the effect of Free Flight, and what book it is in? I only have vol. 1 so far.

Free Flight I think is in AoA 2 OR 3, and Chris Kenner has a variation in his book "Totally out of Control" called Aftershock, which has a kickback. Doug Brewer also has a simliar routine in his great book "The Unexpected Visitor". The effect is basically three coins joining the lead coin under one card, the coins jump from the hand to the card, with the last coin leaving the hand while the spectator has his hands over the card that is covering the other three coins. Hope that Helps.

Kelly

PS. Oh yeah Dave Neighbors has at least one variation that I know of as well where all four coins assemble under the card.

P.D.Q. Coins Across from AOA is a fast, no nonsense routine. There's a nice fluid motion with the Han Ping Chien that takes away the "what happened there" that particular sleight can have in the wrong hands ( mine ).

Hard to tell anymore just what IS a Paul Harris coin trick! His name is on almost everything new that appears. Like he now owns "magic"!
