Love it Preston...

question...it seems a bit "thinner" and "shorter" than when I make it. Am I seeing things?

and it is hard to tell size with photos other then that no idea

those are pics of the first and only time I have made those fully I might not have inflated the 646's all the way being safe as I hardly ever work with them

You made them correctly, and they look awesome! Just smaller than normal it seems. I don't have a photo of Kong but here's a few of the Rex's I've done. They stand about 6' tall...

I have gone back and forth on Rex making him mad or making him dopey and I think I prefer dopey as it seems more cartoon(ish). Just wonder why yours are coming out smaller than usual? Hmmm....?

Ok. after really looking it seems where I start my legs is higher up on the 3 ft round then yours for one. second it looks like your holding yours so that the feet are touching the ground while I am letting mine stand on it's own the legs are forward and he is sitting on his tail I recon that would make some of the difference.

I love your Hula Monkey! One thing I began doing on Buster's monkey design was adding an under inflated 5" round for eyes. I think it gives the monkey so much more personality...

Just wedge them in between the Top and Middle bubble in the muzzle of the monkey.

Just an idea.... Smile

I don't like how it looks. Doing it this way creates a much fuller look I have found. Just my opinion tho...I go back and forth...

Hey Preston,
This is my first hula monkey, & I couldn't work out how to weave the skirt.
Buster is very quick on the DVD, & I haven't worked it out. <grin>
Any tips are welcome.

Christopher,
Thanks for the kind words. I will try the 5" rounds next time, & see which 'look' I prefer.
Can you point me to where I can learn to make the banana?
I love it!

The hula skirt I think buster taught on vol 2 of the mad hatz series I learned it first as a woven flower using 3 balloons buster uses only 2 for the hula monkey to do this with only 2 you have to be very soft for 1 other then that I think you need a visual I don't think it can be described with the written word at least not from me.
