Its a wonderful quarterly magazine that features work from many great names in the twisting world. As well as pictures from events, write ups on balloon artists and little bits of info here and there. They are a great way to build on your pool of sculptures and gives you new ideas... I love it!! |

I’m a big fan of Balloon Magic, and a long-time subscriber but, over the years, I’ve seen the emphasis change considerably. While I love the beautiful complex twists typically featured these days I do miss the quick hitters. When I’m doing line works or events, which is the majority of my work, I need to keep each twist to 4 minutes or so.

Is this magazine for the beginner also?

I think the older versions were more beginner friendly than they are now... They do have a few things here and there still but most other balloon artists I've talked to have expressed a similar feeling as PaulFlury above.
For me I love them and highly recommend any of them. Even if for just inspiration. On several occasions I have revisited them and found things that have helped me for events/partys etc.. I love em. |

I'm just the opposite...
I never book line work and appreciate the more "advanced" things that the magazine has been offering. Seems to me that the issues do have something for everyone tho...

My only complaint is I wish each issue was LONGER with more content and that it was a "monthly subscription" vs. quarterly.
