Back before I was a member of the Magic Castle, I remember having an impossible time getting in. Business trips would bring me to Los Angeles and I would want to check out the famed establishment up on the hill, but I didn't know any members. (None of my NY-based magic friends belonged). I tried calling in favors, I spoke with friends of friends, but nothing worked.
So I'd like to help you out. Since we're all friends here on the Café, I'd be happy to give you a guest pass to the Magic Castle if you're interested in visiting. (Just don't forget to follow the dress code!) It's a special and amazing place, and every magician (and magic enthusiast) deserves to check it out at least once. |

Hi,
I am planning to go on holidays to Los Angeles (during april). I would like to know what magic related places we must visit. For sure we will try to go to the Magic Castle, but I'm not quite sure how it works if we just want to watch a show there. Is it mandatory to be a member or a friend of a member ? Are there other great places devoted to magic ? Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks, Fred |

Hi,
Are you still offering guest passes? I posted this earlier in a different thread - http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......rum=41&0 It's always encouraging & refreshing to see people being so friendly & generous! |
