I am wondering if anyone knows of either book video or marketed item where you drop a ball or other a couple of times then on one of the drops it falls slower, the effect also on a movie I believe the illusionist. (I know that sounds ridiculous for me even mention that) Anyway I have some ideas on how it could work if you know of workings your help would be greatly appreciated!

Actor Edward Norton star of the movie The Illusionist, said on a talk show, that the ball slowing down was not camera trickery or special effects. Nothing else was said.

I am aware of Newtons nightmare and its workings but unfortunately it isn't what I am looking for. It is more of an object that is out in the open to free fall as you drop it from hand to hand then it slows on one of the drops.
Yes Bill that is what I was talking about. Too bad he doesn't mention, I will have to look on who was the magic consultant on the film and maybe contact them. Anyone else have ideas? |

It kind of reminds me of the obedient ball with an IT. Good moves by Norton.
