It's years that I'm stating that one day, somebody will fool the hell out of us by reintroducing the servante... Yann Frisch did!... with a bit of juggling, no prejudice on methods and a huge talent.

That's what I like to think Bernard Black from Black Books would look like if he suddenly developed magical powers.

There are some who might say what he does is not "strong magic" -- but think of the story to be told!
Watcb this again and then tell someone of what you saw -- describe what you felt when experiencing it. Then listen as that person tells you of some magic in their life.

It felt that magic can't be really under control by any magician even if he is a good juggler

Excellent presentation. His movements remind me of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, or Harold Lloyd. It had that silent comedy feel to it.

It's probably me but I'm still trying to figure out as maybe his is as well. Just what the reason for his character being this way is. Is he a sleep deprived college student cramming for finals? A new father that is again sleep deprived. Or who? He's very good and I like this better than the clip that is a year or so older. Just not sure what Yann is supposed to be or maybe that is just it. He wants us to think of him as being in anyone of those possible situations. |

His character, whether sleep deprived, drunk, with a hangover, or even married too long, is someone in the middle of a magical performance that won him a prize. Proof that performance character makes the magic, not the trickery or gimmicks.
