This is marks latest publication and, as the title suggests, it a collection of routines that are not intended to be stand alone effects, more something that might be dropped into a conversation, if you feel it's going in the right direction.
There are nine items in the nicely printed booklet... Game On - An old bar bet updated in which you make a spectator unable to win an invisible dice game. Nice idea, simple to do and effective. I've already tried this out on friends and its one they've asked me to repeat, which you can. Lies - A version of 'which hand is the coin in' without a coin. Nice idea but I feel you must pick the right person to perform this on as the instructions must be clearly understood. Seven - An idea using themes (the sins) from the film 'Se7en'. I love movies, I love this film and I love this trick. It's perfect for me and its one I'm going to be using a lot. All Change - Identify the amount of coins in someone's fist by sound alone. Nice effect if you always carry some change with you. Thumbthing - Rob the participant of a physical capability. To be honest this didn't work for me so I need to get Mark to demonstrate in person should we ever meet...or maybe it's just me! This Year's Book - A book test without a book. This will take some memorising but it's a very strong effect. I'm already learning something similar so I'm not going to start on this one but if you put in a little effort I can see this being mind blowing. Sixty Two Pence - A great little close up effect in which you predict the locations of three coins. Simple to do, with the added kicker of a date revelation and a brilliant closing line! Landline - A (genuine) stranger is telephoned at random and is able to reveal a word, object, place or person that has been decided on by the group. You'd have to be in the right place to be able to do this as well as having, as Mark admits, a bit of luck. The actual trick is straightforward enough and, if presented properly, could be incredibly strong One For The Road - A prediction using imaginary alcoholic drinks that's 100% accurate, 100% of the time. I absolutely love this idea, it's perfect for so many situations (doesn't have to be alcoholic drinks, it could be soft drinks or tea/coffee etc), is easy and fun to do. This is going to be one I will use at every and any opportunity. Brilliant. All in all this a great little booklet with ideas that can quite happily sit in the back of your mind and wait for the right moment. There's a lot of discussion on here regarding impromptu mentalism and although you'll have to practise the routines you'll be ready to go instantly so this is perfect for those 'spur of the moment' moments! The price is reasonable at £16 plus postage and you can get it from... http://elsdon.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/con......ism.html I've found a few things that I love in this publication, and that will definitely be going into my repertoire. Recommended. Tony

This sounds very interesting to me, as I like effects of this nature.
The review provided is well detailed, but can anyone else post a second review? Will it be available in the USA (in dollars) soon? Elliott |

Game on is brilliant.
It drives people nuts.

So, it's been over a year since this was released. Is it that no one is buying this? Or is it that no one liked it? It sounds interesting to me, but I would like to see if more people liked any of it.

I liked the demos from this that he did in his lecture.
They were a little low stakes, understandably, but nice. A mix of mathematical, free will of order- style things. The stuff demo'd from CAM2 was VERY interesting. d
