Nobody ever mentioned but the first thing I think when I opened My card Surgey is that there is a similarity with another Tenyo trick which is the same style with a cut & restaured card effect and uses the same kind of gimmick to create the illusion. Someone guessed ?

Using black art to make a card restaured.... It's exactly the same approach. The complete card is hide behind a black portion in the same color as the background. And once removed the black part, the card is completely restored.
The trick (restore a card ), idea ( visualy hide part of the cards to make believe that it is cut ), and gimmick ( using black art) are the same.

Watching the master handling this effect is definitely stunning sight...I am also suprised how different it is to the Tenyo version in my hand as I practice the routine. Would anyone suggest what material to draw the fake "line" to be wiped clean by finger would be suitable?
