Dear Mr. Jim Sisti
Thank you for answering all my questions . I have a few questions for you. My first question is what trick or who gave you your big break in magic? My second question is what made you get into restaurant magic? My third is what do you think about using the table in the restaurant or should you not use the table at all? My last question is How much do I involve the people sitting at the table ? Thank you Mr. Jim Sisti, your magic is motivational and inspiring to all magicians.

Thanks, Bradley.
The very first upscale family restaurant I worked was a steak house here in Connecticut. There weren't very many restaurants featuring magicians in those days (by those days, I mean the early 80's) so I've always appreciated the vision of that particular restaurant owner for seeing the value of a tableside performer. And, I certainly learned a lot in the three years I was there. The reason I got into restaurant magic (I had done mostly platform magic and worked at an amusement park every summer in addition to my "real" job as a radio announcer) was that my first daughter was on the way and we needed an additional source of income. The amusement park was closed for the season and coincidentally, I was reading Kirk Charles and Al The Only's books on restaurant amgic at the time. So, I gave it a whirl and here we are... I believe we covered your other two questions in various other threads but thanks for hanging in with us here! |
