52 Magic s a Chinese company known for duplicating other peoples material. But they do have good prices on silk and streamers. Has anyone bought silk from them, and if so, how was the quality?

I would not buy from them, period. They rip-off whoever and whatever they can.

If they are known for duplicating other people's material, I'd give them a pass.

The same silks are sold on an auction site (which we are not allowed to mention), different company names, has anyone bought these?

You'd be better off contacting Bob Sanders. His service, quality and prices are excellent! When I need silks, I buy from him.

If you buy from that Chinese company, you'll need more silks an hour later.

I bought silks from another chinese dealer... and it was very dissapointing.
despite announcing natural silks, it was synthetic. no good colors and no good touch... never again! |

The ONLY thing I want from China is recipes. They make pretty good woks and bamboo steamers. That's it. Oh, and they have women that are doll-babies!
As far as magic goes? Especially silk, I buy AMERICAN! The silk comes from Asia, but I only DEAL with Americans! No offense intended to our European and other friends!
My go-to place for silk stuff is Silk King Studios: http://www.silkkingmagic.com/ Doug |

Doug,
Look at page 8 of Rice's Silk Encyclopedia and he tells you that China silk is the best. What he did not say back then was that he could not legally get it. What was available to him was from Japan. Now professionals in Japan use silk from China! Life moves on. Rice is still a great source of silk. As an art professor, his printed silks are tops. |

Hey Bob!
I lost all four of my Rice Encylopedias in that ****ing, cursed foreclosure...
China makes the best silk??? Wow. I stand corrected. After the 1st of the year, my pension gets an increase. I would like to buy a bunch of silks from you. I've only dealt with Rice before. I need to figure out what exactly I need. Thanks, man!
