One thing has always bugged me about these movies...
Why does Neo and the rest go back into the Matrix looking like themselves? Why not look like Elvis? Or a cat? Heck, why not look like me? (Lol!) They could change hair length and clothes, why not bodily features? It is just streams of data right? Hm.... ![]() ![]()

Well in the first film Morpheus explains that their appearance is a digital projection of their mental self. It is a simulacrum (a representation without an original) because they have never truly seen themselves. Which raises a question about the film and consistency. If the characters had never seen themselves in the real world it stands to reason that they could/would look differently in the Matrix.
It is easier for us as an audience to follow Keanu Reeves in both worlds (in the movie) so a compromise had to be made. Jason |

Why do they wear shades all the time,they live underground???
Really enjoyed the first one,2 And 3 were disapointing. Give me lord of the rings any day of the week. |
