Just beautiful! The man is AMAZING! Smile

People do all sorts of coin magic, and I know there are those who believe you should use patter, etc., but this guy is just so unique that with or without patter, he just blows you away right up close. Man, I know this stuff and he still gets me. Smile

Like I always say when it comes to Mickey, "Levels!" Smile

The retention is so good. The coins just have to be where you see them.

Visually high impact illusions with coins...that's Mickey.

There is just one of him around.

Sweet, as always. Every time I see one of these vids I have to pinch myself. I KNOW what is happening, as many of you here do, but I can't really SEE it happening! Fantastic handling!

Thanks Mick!

The coins are real. The cards are real. Mickey is unreal-- in his continued ability to amaze!
[He did tip the working to me: he said he uses marked cards, lol!]

Man, Mickey's stuff makes most other things from the big, small & all just look like a trick. Smile

I was watching another fine coin worker in Luis Piedrahita and then looking at Mickey just do this and it made me think deeper as to "trick or treat," that there truly is a difference ...Interesting, to say the least.

MB,

Yes we can bring our own personality to our coin work.

That is a good thing.

First we imitate, then we emulate, then we create.

Which can lead to others

imitating us, then emulating us, then creating.

Tis the season to create.

Thanks for sharing another application of this versatile move.

Notice how he uses sound in the set up (while the camera shows us the photos) and during the routine.

Side note, when I lived in Reno, I knew a local magician that put his own photo on a wall containing superstars of movies, tv and music.

Harris

Bonus question...which is further west ...Reno or L.A. California.

Vinny, smart man in magic and geography.

Most folks around the midwest, get it wrong.

Hmm, I wonder if anyone has a close up pad with a map on it?

Could make for some interesting patter..but I digress..

As usual, said Nigel, the puppet that rocks and talks.(and is learning to play the harmonica)

WOW!!! Can’t believe that video clip ended up here - That was taken last weak in Las Vegas at Binions poker tournament room by a woman with her iphone……..Anyway’s, thanks for putting it up Vinny

------Also guy’s thank you all very much for all those possitive comments. I’m glad you liked it considering the poor quality of the video.

……… NOTE!!! If you look carefully you will see that “ONE COIN” is in fact really placed under one card - "ONLY ONE CARD REALLY HAS THE COIN UNDER IT” - This is what actually fools my audience in altering their thought process……………

WE ALL MUST REMEMBER AS MAGICIANS: Our spectators hear what they expect to hear and they also see what they expect to see…… This is what gives us our advantage in making the unexpected never seen-

- Now in the case of this routine - I am never a step a head like in most magic!!! Actually I am a step behind!!!!! My audience is a step ahead of me, this of course giving me all the cover I ever need!!!!

It’s a brilliant move and one that is hard to be believed by anyone who sees this in person!!!!
