Gotta love multiply-connected surfaces with Penrose Polygons. Very nice photograph; thanks for sharing.
The story might go something like: Professor Penrose was experimenting with a three-twist Mobius strip he had formed from a page torn from the Sefer Yetzirah. As the space and time around him contorted, he reached out his arm which penetrated a craps table in a Las Vegas in the late 2025's.... Maybe I should just drive up to Washington where pot is legal....
