Hey folks,
I need some help identifying the manufacturer of this spirit clock. I have been told it is possibly an old Bob Kline clock with a cosmetic re-dressing however, I have owned several Kline clocks and they structure and top portion are completely different. Plus, Kline clock s had ONE hand and a Door on the front. This clock is far more ornate than a Kline. Any help would be appreciated. One last note. The only info I have is from the pic. It has still yet to arrive in my hands. I am just impatient Thanks Chance Click here to view attached image.

I agree it's not a Kline, unless it was completely rebuilt. Whomever created it however, did a stunning job. It looks wonderful. Great find...
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I took the time to look at a Kline side by side and there is not a single thing that is the same. So we can rule that out.
Now the mystery deepens! It really is a nice piece. The design and decor is quite amazing. The roof is very cool and more shapely than anything I have seen as well as the router bit choices to shape the edges etc. Can't wait to see it in the real!

Was it possible the cabinet was built after the clock? Sometimes, Roman or Aribic numerals and the mechanism in the hand help identify it.
Also some manufacturers used IIII as poised to IV because it appeared "more balanced". This is the case with yours which would indicate a later model. (later being a relative term).
