Dpe666, that doesn't surprise me in the least. That flick is definitely an aquired taste. But if you do ever get a chance to see it, see it in a theatre with a cast. So many people have just rented it and watched it on TV and then think, "Hey, this film SUCKS!" Well, of course it sucks, that's why thousands of people have devoted their weekends to making fun of it for the past 28 years.

Princess Bride
Star Wars
Groundhog Day
Romancing the Stone
Shawshank Redemption
The Sting
Along with numerous others

Walked out on many but the one I don't think I even made it through but 20 minutes of was the american president. Was this ment to be a movie or a political advertisment?

Fell asleep on,

2 weeks notice... Then I walked out
In loving memory of Hughie Thomasson 1952-2007.

You brought something beautiful to this world, you touched my heart, my soul and my life. You will be greatly missed.

Until we meet again “my old friend”.

Walked out of Kung Pow enter the fist

Are you kidding!? Kung Pow was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I'd never watch it a second time but it was hilarious!

I've seen TOY STORY many many times and I could watch it over and over. Although it only came out last March, I've seen FINDING NEMO 5 times - one of the best movies.

Never fallen asleep in a theatre or walked out on a movie.

STAR WARS IV, V, and VI!!! Seen them more times than Anyone EVER should.

I have never walked out on a movie. Almost did on Moulin Rouge but I too thought it would get better. WRONG!

Never fell asleep during one either. My girlfriend did though. The English Patient. And SHE was the one who wanted to see it. You best believe I don't let her forget it either.

Scratch Elmo from the above and that's my list.
It's a wonderful life is slightly in the lead for times watched, though.

Walked out? Once. I can't stand even to remember it...

You know...we're missing three of the funniest movies of all time:
-Blazing Saddles
-Young Frankenstein

We just saw Bill Murray in "Lost in Translation." Man, there's a movie we should have walked out was supposed to be funny. Instead, we found it morose, tedious, and a general downer. And those were the good parts...

I've got young kids, so to innoculate myself against some of the more hideous current kid movies I knew they'd have to watch over and over, I subtly manipulated them into loving classic comedy. Now we alternate hideous kid movies, good kid movies (like Toy Story) with classics like Abbott & Costello, Buster Keaton, and Laurel & Hardy.

And now ~16 times. Watched it again last night (it's about the right time of year). Every time I watch it I expect to like it less than the previous time, but it's holding its own very well!

You should see me when John Candy starts "doin the messaround" in the car - can't help but join in. My wife sort of looks at me strange!

I've fallen asleep during several movies at the theater. The reason for dozing off was I was truley very very tired *yawn* *yawn*. After a long week at the office, sitting in a comfortable theatre chair, with lights off and soothing sound system just knocked me out.

I usually woke well past half the movie without a clue of what was going on. Then the disappointment of knowing I just threw away that money. At that point I'd just leave.

I hit the theater once a year if that now. Smile

Films I have seen loads of times:

The Mask-about 15 times
Fight Club-10+ and read the book twice.
Once upon a time in China- loads
Goodfellas- loads
Various Hitchcock films multiple times- Vertigo being my favourite
Various John Woo films multiple times.

Nearly every film I have seen since I was 16 I have seen more than once, but then I did film studies at college.

Films I have walked out on:

Nearly walked out on Matrix Revolutions but I didn't want to miss any cool special effects.
I actually walked out on one film (I can't remember the name) and sneaked into Lost in Space, which I would have walked out of but I couldn't be bothered to get up again.
Look behind you...on your left...thats the real world.
