This reminds me of why I must *never* say, 'I am a magician.'!

Most people on the Café will watch it just out of curiosity, even though some who will watch it will deny ever doing so. It looks like it will be funny anyway.

It might even start a new stage and street magic debate lol.

There is a movie called "the magicians" on Netflix. It's a UK film. Very funny!

Burt Wonderstone is directed by Don Scardino, who is one of the nicest human beings I have had the pleasure of meeting and working for.
Don as a young actor was famous as Jesus on Broadway during the original Godspell run...he is a very compelling and instantly likable spirit, a rare wealth of spirit.
über-talented but so down to earth and kind.
He now produces and directs 30 Rock for NBC.

Don introduced me to my lovely wife and for this I will always be in his debt.

I have not seen Burt Wonderstone but I am so certain that it will be very funny while having its heart in the right place.

This looks like it could be funny. I'll give it a shot, and will have check out "The Magicians," too.

March seems such a long way away. If you do check out "The Magicians" note the appearance of Davenport's Magic Shop in Charing Cross underground station in London - well worth a visit

It is a very funny movie. If you just want to have a good time and some laughs, go see it. It is for adults, not young kids.

Looks like it could be a funny movie, any ideas when it will be released.

The article says: "Our famed guide pointed out one very old looking book sitting in a glass case -- that was made for Copperfield by the Smithsonian. It is believed to be the world's first published magic book, dating back to the 1500s."

Uhm...Copperfield doesn't strike me as the type to appreciate 500 year old books? Does he?

Why not?
I believe that Copperfield has an extensive museum (yes, museum) of rare magic memorabilia.

...I think the movie looks AWESOME, I can't wait to see it.
