I worked as a restaurant magician part-time a few years ago and for one reason or another got out of the biz. I really like the idea of being my own boss, but I have too good of a job just to quit it cold turkey, and have obligations that would make that move too risky. The problem I have is my schedule is not really conducive to most restaurant's schedules when they normally hire table magicians, which is usually for kids nights on Tuesday - Thursday. I work until 8:30 PM M-Th, 9-6 on Saturday and have Sundays and Fridays off.
My question is, what kind of work is available to me with my schedule? Let's assume for the moment that I will not be able to change my schedule for 6 months, though I'm hoping for an opportunity sooner. Thanks in advance for your help, Greg Brannan |

Offhand I’d say just keep asking around until you run into the folks that match your criteria.
If you scroll about halfway down the main page, you’ll see a forum called Tricky business That would be a good place to ask this question.
...what if I could read your mind?

For working in restaurant, the forum "Table hoppers & party strollers" should help you more.
