Back into the collecting fray I climb!

Anyone have any of these for sale or trade? Original packaging not necessary (though preferred for the small boxed items), though instructions are a necessity. I will happily trade my books for items, which could add up very nicely for the seller.

Thanks, cyberdave, but I am looking for the original Tenyo items, not recent or current releases of older items. There is, for instance, a big difference between the original "Two into One Rope" and the one they sell now in Japan. They're made differently.

Wow, tough list.
So are these ones you like to play with, or need to fill holes in your collection?

A combination.

I have a "Ribbon Forever," but the plastic warped in the gimmick and it won't slide anymore. Great trick, so need a new one that works.

There are some items on the list that weren't very hard to find when I started collecting Tenyo a decade ago. "Super Vase a la India" and "Against Gravity" weren't hard to find--just took a month or two. Things have changed since then.

I see that a Twin Flower just went up on eBay with no box, and so I might bid on that.

Richard K.

There have been a few Against Gravity available in the last year but not a single Super Vase A La India.

The trick on eBay is Color Changing Flower.

Twin Flower is an entirely different trick.

Even though prices right now are as low as they have been in over a year, the prices will be a lot higher than what you were used to paying back in the day.

Good luck with your search.

I have a few of the items you are looking for, for sale, I will send you an email.

Gzero, is "Ribbon Forever" really worth that much?

Ribbon Forever is really a good trick, very visual, but not in my favorite.

Against Gravity

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tenyo-Tricks-1-/......c3345d16

However, you seemed shocked at some of the milder prices. For what you're looking for, better be prepared to pony up at least a thousand $, possibly closer to 2.

It is fortunate that the bidder on the other auction with Sutekina is not on the Against Gravity as well. That bidder is a Tenyo completist and a ferocious bidder. He and I have cost each other mounds of money. Also one of the super bidders from Canada has gone from buying everything at crazy prices (he was the second bidder on the $750 Ultra Tube) to selling off in droves at really low prices. It is actually a very good time to buy. There is plenty of supply and the prices have been very good considering what they were 9 months ago at the peak. It is frustrating for me because the ones I need (which go from scarce to impossible) have not come around. I have been on a T-number drought since July. :–(

So, bad time for me to be selling off my babies.
Will make it hard to price the list.

Ed,

Not the best time to sell right now, but if you have the right items, the time you sell never matters, people will pay for certain items no matter what the market conditions are.

John, how do you know who the bidder on "Against Gravity" is? eBay made that very difficult to suss out several years ago.
