I was asked to post this here to give some of his friends an update. One of our faithful spooky performers from Myrtle Beach, SC, Roger "Nobody" Jones was in a bad motorcycle accident on New Years day. He is in the hospital and he is still sedated and in ICU. He broke a couple ribs, broke his arm and they are trying to fend off an infection among other things. I know a lot of you know Roger and he is one of the good ones and a fantastic performer.

He and his family could use some prayers and positive thought sent their way. I am in contact with his fiance and if anyone wants more info just PM me. Thanks everyone

This is our colleague magicianroger (on the Café). Sending healing thoughts...

Is there any kind of a donation account set up to assist him, do you know, Wayne?

Roger is a great performer. He does over 100 seance shows a year. We've talked many times. He's a character with a real southern type drawl.
He's kind of a badass from way back. I hope he gets well soon.

Just an update on Roger. There has been no real change at all. He is still in ICU and still under sedation. They are being very careful about possible infections and expect to take him off sedation in 3 to 4 days. He goes by magicianroger here on the Café. Thanks for all the well wishes.

No change really. He is still in an induced coma and still in ICU. I hope to get an update soon.

He now has a trach which will be less stress on his lungs compared to the breathing tube. His vitals and other organs are all still good so that is some good news. He is still undergoing surgeries to wash out the infected areas which can be a long drawn out process. Prayers are definitely still appreciated and needed. It will be a long recovery as well but the doctors said they are hopeful at this point.

I just got an update on him. The surgeon is saying that he may be sedated for weeks and they are working through several issues. As Chad said, his vitals and organs are doing well. Please keep those prayers going please!

Same here. Never met him, but he has my best thoughts for him, regardless.

Just a quick update. Roger is now awake and responsive. He has a long road ahead of him but he is doing better. He is still in ICU but things are looking up.

That's great news, even if not 100% ideal. So happy to hear things are headed in the right direction.

Wayne or Chad, please make certain to let him know there are a bunch of us here keeping him in our thoughts and requesting updates on how he is doing. If there is anything he would like to occupy him, once he is more stable and able to actually entertain himself with reading, etc., a little more, please pass that along. Perhaps some of us could be of assistance.

I sure will. Once he is out of ICU and can talk with the trac removed I will post his info and chat with him about what he needs. He is still very medicated and doesn't remember a lot about what is going on right now. Thanks everyone.
