If anyone wants to get some EA stuff and see some interesting locks, a few cuff collectors will be at the West Coast lock show. Escapes will be available.

Sat February 2nd. Ayres Hotel, 14400 Hindry Ave., Hawthorne, CA - 9am – 4pm Admission: $5.00
310-536-0400. Special room rate Code: WCLA 13 http://www.ayreshotels.com/hawthorne/index.asp

This is your chance to show some support which may possibly develop into another EA convention, possibly, but only if people show interest.

Annapolis Maryland? Nice... about 2 hours from Philly by car.... not too long by train though. Hit me up when you jump the pond.

Phillie ROCKS I love the place. Would love to come back over at some point. Ken if you get some time in Phillie I would really make the effort to go!

Any interesting (as in Escape based challenges) so far? Or is it all quiet on the western front?

Did the Castle yonks ago and yes it was an enjoyable outing (Peeps did tend to stick in clickey groups a bit,,,but they do at the Circle over here as well!). Thanks Mick,,,only have a tie,,,,so maybe that would do (Its very long and wide, so just about covers up.) Hey Nipps we missed you when you were over here last,,,so its a possible!!

No Dave not yet,our agents have contacted several agencies over there but nobody has taken it on. According to two promoters there are no name acts that would bring any advantage in to us on the west coast but two possibles on the east coast they are talking with NY1 (Local TV station who covered us before, NY based) Will let you know if things change but there is a lot of interest in the Baltimore area. The angel of being a Brit being the comeon!!

Plenty of work in LA if you know how to find it and have the right act for it. that's the tricky part. Smile

No Dave there are no name acts in the area so nothing we would benefit from. Put all the details plus the agents we have contacted plus their replies(These are most interesting hahaha) On the UKEA site and Facebook page.

To see how things are being viewed watch Big Brother and Dancing on Ice,,three very expensive "Stars" which have no talent all from the same stable. So that is the problem behind doing a beano out there. Pretenders will not get approached as its pretty sealed in the US over a certain standard bringing in the food. Lots of half cooked have tried according to (William Morris & Gersh) They should know the crack, booking many of the top acts themselves.

Looks like 18th - 18th will be out of contact except for iphone (Cant get on with these!!).

Will be at Blackpool, will you ???

Wasn't planning on Blackpool. Don't really feel up to it. In a low frame of mind since mid December. Decided there are 3 things I don't like:-

1) seeing ambulances especially with their "blues and twos" on
2) Christmas and birthdays
3) cold damp weather.

All 3 = really Smile

HMM strange- that you can't get booked through your agent. Maybe, you should get a better agent?
Lots of work here for the talented and lots of events going on in FEB in Hollywood.

Now, if you were nice, I would provide you with agents and booking people that could help you.
But, you are not nice!

Apologies for that interference, as I said on here before, I choose who I deal with and address. The above poster is not in the same league so will not get a reply other than BS.

Curtis it's about time that you stepped up and taught Ken a lesson. Prove to him how much better you are than him and it will also be a great chance to prove how nasty he is?

I think I remember you talking about challenging him to an escape based challenge. It would make sense for it to be an escape based challenge wouldn't it. didn't he mention the agent who has booked him? You should get in touch and try and make some money off his old ass! I think he is purely going over as he has been booked for his last escape, I don't think he is trying to pick up work but he has invited chellenges though and so far nothing! So it really would be an ideal time (while he's over there) to set up that challenge and show everyone who's the best Escape Artist! I believe he leaves for the US on the 18th

I would love to come and see you perform though Curtis. Hoping to get over there in the next couple of years, keep us all posted on your gigs!

Now go lick ass and TOUT AWAY!

DAVE,
I believe Ken is looking for work in the California while he is in the States, Unless I am miss reading him.... He can be a bit confusing or I am dense. I could help connect him with lots of booking agents, planners and talent agents. I work with many here in LA and in the States. Plus, I am contact with lots of venues looking for variety acts all the time.

Lets clear a few things up Dave.
I Never challenged him to an escape. He called me a liar, a fake etc and that I work at a pizza place and then some sexual remarks. Which is far from the truth.

So I called him on his BS (btw BS is his fav two letters to use) and said that I would put up $10k against his $10k to see who is more financially successful, I did this because, I got tired of his BS and off remarks. But responded negative.

Then he insults other entertainers work and said its not manly quality. So, naturally, this makes one curious, so I checked out his work and on his site he is making a pink balloon dog....
Dave, I don't know if he is aware of his negative attitude toward people or others are over looking it????????

So who is full of BS DAVE? lol

I am a real easy, caring and helpful person and he tries to make me look the opposite.

I understand different markets and different styles of performances and be glad to point him in the right direction to book a show or two here. Lots of work in LA, just depends what market you would like to hit. By his own omission he stated his agent didn't have any luck.

But, yes when you come to LA look me up. Come tour my warehouse and come to a my public performances. Best bet is to follow me facebook fan page.
