Hi all,
I was inspired recently by Matt Falloon (a fellow balloon twister from Australia) to play around with geo blossoms. These balloons are very versatile and unique. In fact, there was a DVD put out some years ago by Dennis Hodgers and Guido Verhoof (sorry if I misspell their names) featuring many designs using these balloons. Any way, I made a little dinosaur using a geo blossom, and I have made a youtube video tutorial for it. Check it out, and if you can, pick up a bag of blossoms. They are fun to play with! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQTzB6Aju44 |

Nice design and really well made video. I appreciate adding the voice instructions as an overdub as opposed to talking & twisting at the same time.

Fudd, the angler fish was made by Matt Falloon. I love that one! PaulFury, I have no idea...I shot a whole bunch of stuff in Wichita (home offices of Pioneer Balloon Co. and balloon Magic the Magazine). The content will be released in several issues over the coming year or two. I'll post on facebook when the next issue comes out!

WOW!
I've looked high and low for a decent dino design, who knew I would find it at the Magic Café.

I made the Geo Dino and the first thing my 9 year old son said was, "It's Yoshi!!!"
Google Yoshi and you'll see that it is a great Yoshi. I really think this design is a winner because it combines three elements that work great. 1) It is SUPER cute, unique, and impressive 2) It is fairly straight forward to make. Maybe not "easy" but certainly not the most complicated. 3) It is quick enough for a working room or party I really like this.

It also looks like the dino from the old video game "Bubble Bobble". I like it.
Thanks |
