I know, I know... Hardly a week goes by without its new Cameron Francis trick/pdf/download -but the man never cease to impress me as those usually are strong workers.
And it sure looks like he has outdone himself with this new offering. I like, sorry, no: I LOVE the fact that the working of this "nomadic" CTW is made so obvious in the trailer. The TW doesn't fool the camera but I'm 100% sure it will fry laymen. Thanks Cameron and Owen for the honnest video. It´s available for preorder here: http://www.bigblindmedia.com/The_Wallet_......bm83.htm And, you know what ? It´s cheap !! 20£ for the DVD plus two gimmicks. J. (Ok... I'm still getting the new Robson wallet... But still... 20 quids to turn my Totoro wallet into a NO PALM CTW ! Who could beat that ?) |

Cameron, since you post quite a lot, could you tell us a little bit more about the WT ?
Its origin, inspirations and so on ? Thanks in advance, J. |

In the working of it, it looks like the same than the mirage wallet from Mark Mason..

This does look very good.
As Jeremie said, it's obvious in the trailer to me and probably other Magicians but I can see myself doing this to others and blowing their minds away. |

Cameron sent me a video of this thing AGES ago. It's great - really clever thinking - just a brilliant idea and a really interesting illusion. So practical and commercial - yeah, this one ticks a LOT of boxes!

What a brilliant idea!
Some think Houdini used trap doors in his act, but he was just going through a stage.

Except the paperclip.. Anyway, I like the concept behind it.

This sold out at Magi Fest this past weekend!
I had to say this every time I performed it, but, this is not the same thing as the Mirage Wallet. Nothing shoots back in. The gimmick will not wear out (well, maybe after hundreds of performances but even then, it should still hold up). No elastic and no rubber bands. Nothing like that. Again, not the same as the Mirage wallet. In fact, I showed this to Mark Mason and he loved it!

I'm curious if this could be done with a spectator's wallet?
Not sure what is involved with setting up the transformer, but I'm picturing adding it under the pretense of putting a "prediction" in a spectator's wallet, for "safe keeping."

Can't really do it in a spectators wallet. Needs to be your own.
Now, I don't go over this on the DVD because I never gave it much thought before, but you could use this for a small prediction billet. You would need both of your gimmicks for that.. I'll leave it at that for now but when you get. It, you'll probably see what I mean.

Great Cameron, great.
If people like the look of this effect then it's also worth looking at... http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=109 It doesn't use a wallet but works with a similar principle.

Different principle. Cash Vault is similar to the Mirage Wallet in some respects. But Cash Vault is a cool effect! Got one around here somewhere...

I was with Cameron this past weekend and saw just how powerful this new gimmick is. It was the very first effect I got to witness when I stepped into the convention. I got one IMMEDIATELY!
What Cameron has designed here is, in my view, solved the common problem every card to wallet has...the image of the card coming out of the wallet! He hit it in spades with wallet transformer! JM |

Cameron showed a few of this at lunch one afternoon. It looks perfect. We all thought we knew what was going on (Being Magician's)but somehow it just looked better than it should. It wasn't until he showed us the working that we saw why it looked so good and how simple but clever it was.
