Can anyone comment on the differences, pros and cons between this and the Mirage Wallet? Thx.

This looks like another winner from Cameron.
Mr Francis - how do you come up with the goods time after time?? :)

I have both, so I can explain them.
Mirage is a full wallet. The principle is good but not 100% foolproof. Sometimes the gimmick gets stuck. There is also a possibility that could break. And the paperclip is not really "organic". The wallet transformer is a gimmick: you can use it with a regular wallet that you can buy for $10 or less. You can easily move it to a different wallet. It can break but extremely unlikely that is going to happen (Cameron provides two gimmicks anyway). I would say that mirage's illusion is slightly better in some ways, but worst in other ways; the WT illusion just works, see the promo video. If you have more specific questions, I can gladly reply to them, provided that I won't expose the details of how the gimmick works.

The Mirage Wallet also didn't have an instant reset. Cameron's Wallet Transformer resets as you close it to put back in your pocket. That's a big selling point.
The Mirage also is built into the wallet, so you're restricted with that wallet choice. The Wallet Transformer goes into any wallet you choose ( the credit card slot has to be towards where the bills are kept ). |

You sure? A lot of people guess wrong at the method.
Thanks for all the kind words, guys.

Paperinick and Zombie,
thanks for the input. I don't think I need any additional information. I think the WT is the right one for me. I really like the idea of something I can use with any wallet. I have some expensive magic wallets, but I don't use them as regular wallets or carry them around with me because I don't want to wear out a $100 wallet through regular use when I normally use a $10 wallet. Another question on the wallet type. I've read that this will reset when the wallet is folded to be put away. Could the gimmick be used in a card case type wallet that does not fold?

Do you have a picture of the wallet?

Well I can say that this is not the "obvious" method, this is something more strange (?) Good work , Cameron

Thank you. Yes, whenever I dem it, I always preface the dem by saying, "There's no elastic. I'm saying this because when I show it to you, you'll think there is."

I like this idea of producing a selected signed card from wallet. Can anyone tip about the angles? Also, any need for the credit card pockets to be on either side of the wallet or maybe one side better than the other in order to produce the card (right better than left or viceversa)? Thanks.

Side doesn't matter. Angles are great as long as there's no one under you, and if there is, why are you wasting your time doing a card trick!

Side doesn't really matter but I would say it's slightly better if you can pull the card from the side closest to you (depending if you are lefthanded or righthanded)

I have a trifold wallet with vertical slots that were fairly small. What I found the easiest to do and the most natural was to pull the card out of the side that was the TOP fold so I didn't have to fold out the entire wallet when I pulled the card out (I did, however, unfold the whole wallet some point before to show only 1 card was in it, kind of akin to a "dream card" effect). In my case, the top fold tends to be "farther" from me because of how I hold my wallet.
