I once saw an extension for table hoppers.

It was made of wood and would fit on the edge of the table with supports underneath and would allow you to use a close up matt and perform many effects you usually would not do.

It used just an inch or so of the table.

I forgot where I saw it and at the time I thought it was a great idea!

Anyone know where I can find this or heard of something similar?

Thanks,

I am currently working on getting a similar item into production that I have been using for years, although mine is made of metal, very compact, and adaptable to any surface (board or case) you wish to attach it to. I will make an announcement in the "Let's Make a Deal" section when it is ready--probably later this year.

I racked my poor little memory and remembered where I saw the darn thing...

I ordered one, I have always been a little bummed out that I could not do my chop cup or a matrix, etc. in a walk around situation.

If anyone else would like one go to:

Al's magic shop

click on "entire catalog" and look for:
The Incredible CLIP-ON CLOSE-UP TABLE

I will let everyone know how it works out!

Well, I got the clip on table but it was damaged in shipping and there are no more to be had.

This did turn out to be a good thing, I was able to make my own w/ a little thought and time. It works very nicely and much better than the more expensive one that was damaged!

Hi Tobias,

I glued a close up pad to the table I made, I could just as easily put a cloth around it, but for my purposes just the pad is fine.

Ehi! that's really interesting...

do you think you really need it?
I mean, do you think you really need a "table" to perform in a restaurant?

I'm not so sure... maybe we can talk about it.

cheers

I don't "need" the table, but there are a few routines I like to perform that cannot be done in the hands. I don't like to use the customers table or move glasses and dishes around to make room, so the clip on table suits me. It is all a matter of taste and style I suppose.
