Global Warming Alarm: Continued Cooling May Jeopardize Climate Science And Green Energy Funding!
The past 17 years of flat global temperatures are creating a big chill for lots of global warming doom-premised industries. Those experiencing cold sweats must certainly include legions of climate scientists who have come to depend upon the many tens of billions of taxpayer bucks for studies that would have little demand without a big crisis for the public to worry about. http://www.forbes.com/sites/larrybell/20......funding/ So we have to carry on paying, even though there is no global warming, otherwise all the warmers will be going bust and be unemployed and on food stamps. Millions of warmers will be on the streets freezing to death.

Wait, you want us to put CO2 monitoring stations in the ocean? Where- on travelling diesel-powered cruise liners? Maybe on oil drilling platforms? That will give an accurate reading.

Yesterday I heard on the news that Washington was tied with Arizona as the hottest states. It definitely got hot quick here. Heck, it was only about a week ago that we had snow. Not even kidding.

Accurate? It does not need to be accurate, so long as it keeps a warmer off the street.

Instead, let's just ignore 3/4 of the earth's surface. And how many temperature monitoring stations, do you think, are located in the northern 25% and southern 25% of the earth's surface? |

Meanwhile, back on the ground, it sure is a warm spring:
Quote:
LAKE MILLE LACS, Minn. – Strong winds have pushed huge ice sheets ashore at a northern Minnesota lake and right up to people's doorsteps. And it was a whole lot warmer, as reported in Scientific American, from all those SUVs and coal burning power plants Australopithecus was running 3 million years ago: Quote:
The Arctic wasn't always covered in ice. Samples of sediment layers beneath a frozen lake show this region used to be a lot warmer—and may thaw out again in the future. The work is in the journal Science. [Julie Brigham-Grette et al, Pliocene Warmth, Polar Amplification, and Stepped Pleistocene Cooling Recorded in NE Arctic Russia] |

If you can find the video you should watch it cause it didn't just push the ice up to the doorsteps but it actually knocked down walls and went through windows. You could actually see the ice slowly advancing on houses and structures. It was crazy to watch. |

The warming theorists better put their tin hats on before someone hits them on the head with a snowball.

Why none other than Larry Bell, Director, Adams Resources & Energy. Who's that? Forbes also lists him as Larry E. Bell, Risk Manager--HollyFrontier Oil Corporation. Since he didn't have any scientific citations in his article, maybe Larry E. Bell is a qualified climate scientist himself. Afraid not. He is a professor of "Space Architecture" at the University of Houston. Hmm. He has written and self=published a book Climate of Corruption: Politics and Power Behind the Global Warming Hoax. Of course he knows what he's talking about. Why do we fools keep expecting to that climate scientists should know about climate when self-published experts keep telling us otherwise?

Remember Dr. Roy Spencer. The NASA climate scientist who fights against climate policy on the grounds that God promised Noah that nothing bad will happen to the earth, so we need not bother trying to clean up?
Well, he does monitor global temperature using satellite data. Here's the latest chart from his website.

Quoting your lies you mean? Climate panic, after all, is fear of dramatic, life-altering climate changes, not about tenths of a degree. We are told by you warmers that we must “take action right now before it’s Too Late!” That doesn’t mean: before it’s too late to avoid a Spring that comes a week earlier or summer heat records of 103 degrees instead of 102. Where is all the end of the world stuff you warmers promised? We have been waiting since 1979 and all you got is a tenth of a degree if it's true! How much has that cost us so far? And you have not even proven its man that caused it! You bunch of scamming dirty rotten thieving lying scoundrels! Are you warmers out for a laugh? What do we want? Our money back! When do we want it? Now! I will give you 0.1 when I get my hands you!

Remember the IPCC report you loath so much. Here's what the most recent (#4) report said:
Quote:
For the next two decades, a warming of about 0.2°C per decade is projected for a range of SRES emission scenarios. Even if the concentrations of all greenhouse gases and aerosols had been kept constant at year 2000 levels, a further warming of about 0.1°C per decade would be expected. The graph you just disparaged shows 0.1 degree rise from the 1981-2010 average. (Spencer is playing a little trick here.) Care to push your head a little farther in?

Do you remember telling us within a few years winter snowfall will become a very rare and exciting event?

Magnus-
I'm constantly amused at those who will attack all peer reviewed scientific papers and studies as being biased or a "hoax" while at the same time accepting, without question, the most spurious theories from the most questionable sources. |
