If I wasn't clear above: the magnifier helps you better see the lines of the sitter's hand, while the letter opener is perfectly suited to point out details. It's as if they were made for palmistry.

A few examples (think what each of these sets could say to a client about you):

Okay, I can't resist any more.

When your subject line said, " Small palm readers wand,"I thought you meant a magic wand used by a midget medium.

When I first read it, I thought the subject was "Small palm readers wanted."

Heh, anyway I really like those magnifier/opener sets.

Another tip: you'll often find some distinctive sets on Etsy and eBay.

Dr. Spector, I only saw you recommend a magnifying glass with a handle that can be used as a pointer. But by using a magnifying glass and a separate letter opener, a reader can point and examine lines closely at the same time. Works for me, anyway.

Best,
Neil

P.S. Yes, you should get a 9-year-running show. Get crackin'.

That may be, but it's kinda funny considering yods are all over the Waite/Coleman tarot deck illustrations.

Could someone please explain, why you would consider the use of a wand in a palm reading?

In my experience a lot of the impact of a palm reading is achieved by the odd situation for the client to have his hand held and someone pointing out those lines with "body-contact". In my view that helps a lit to achieve an emotional impact with that reading, making the whole thing more intimate.

For me the use of the wand lets me show the fine detail of the hand and the lines . I have rather thick hands and would not be able to show the fine details as clean . I also perform some routines where I use the lines in the hand to show then the items they touched or thought of.
