Thanks!!

And, just because I can...I'm releasing THE APPROACH a few days early!! Hurrah! I can't believe it's finally done! So, have you ever wanted to start making money with your magic? Well, if you have, I've written a guidebook to help you through it...

And FREE SHIPPING too !!
Very excited about this... The first twelve chapters were wonderful and I'm really looking forward to reading the whole book.

How long will you be offering the free international shipping Jamie ? I want to take advantage of this offer but can't order before a few days.

Thanks !

I so rarely promote someone else's product, but I feel so strongly about this particular one, that I felt the need to make an exception.

Jamie's book "The Approach" is one that I recommend to all magical performers. It is one of those rare gems that if you read and make an effort to apply its suggestions and wisdom to your own performance strategies, will drastically improve your craft. This is one of those books that I wish someone had given me when I was a snotty 16-year old kid who thought himself to be a magician. How wrong I was back then.

Jamie has managed to succinctly distill years of personal performing experience into a single, easy-to-read, and concise tome that is essentially a workbook for making you think about how you are currently approaching your art. I am certain that you'll find something in it that will positively change your approach to magic, both from an artistic angle, and a business one.

Do yourself a favor, and instead of buying the latest trick that will just wind up gathering dust in your drawer, get this real-world manifesto that can make you a better performer.

This is an unsolicited testimonial and I make no money off of any sales (although Jamie was kind enough to use a blurb of mine to promote his book). Jamie is a genuinely nice fellow (the polar opposite of myself), and his love of magic clearly shows in every word that he has committed to paper.

THANKS!!! That is so kind. Truly.

And I've sent out a few hundred now- hopefully everyone's busy filling theirs out! I'd love to know how everyone's getting on.

So, I had kinda lost track of this topic, (You changed the title, right?), and I was thinking, "I wonder when Jamie will be releasing that book he told us about. Seems like his goal was to finish it around now." So I got to looking and whoa! it's done and you're selling draft copies! Just put in my order for a draft copy! If I get lucky and it arrives before Magic Live! I'll bring it with me and have you sign it.

Good job Jamie! Can't wait.

I'm with you. I've been swamped with work, so my time here has been limited. I didn't realize the books title had been changed ! I was hoping to get a draft.

I didn't wanna be the first one to ask but when do we find out who won the contest for the buyers of the draft copy?

I think I read several pages back, that the first to ask, would be removed from the drawing. ;0)

I enjoy Jamie's writing and artistic talent -- and the fact that he's a fellow Canuck -- and picked up a copy right away. I'm looking forward to reading it.

About a week ago I decided to pick up Jamie’s book, “The Approach.” While $75 is not cheap for a book, I thought Jamie had shared so much information for free over the years that it was a fair asking price.

I finished reading the book in 2 days and I think I can sum it up in one word…”Enthusiasm.”

Jamie’s enthusiasm and love of performing magic pours out of the pages of the book. When reading it, you can’t help but to be excited as well. There is TONS of valuable information packed inside. Some things I already knew but there were so many things I had NEVER thought of! There will probably be some things you disagree with…that’s ok. As Jamie says (I’m paraphrasing), “We’re all different.”

I put “The Approach” in my top 5 magic books I’ve read (please don’t ask me the other 4 right now). If you are a magician (close-up, stage, whatever), you should read this book. I’ve never met Jamie before but if we’re ever in the same place, I’m going to buy him a beer or 3 because 1) he seems like he’d be awesome to hang out with and 2) he deserves it for all he’s shared with the magic community, including this book.

Hiya Gang!

I hope everyone's been well! Just a quick FYI that, as time moves on and this drifts out of the Latest And Greatest section, we're still talking about it over here in the Books section:

Also, I'm having a contest on that thread for any one of my products and $100 CASH!

All you need to do to enter is pick up copy of The Approach and write down your favourite chapter (over in the Book thread)! That's it! I'll do a draw from these names and someone will win any one of my products plus a hundred dollars cashola! Fun!

Draw will be held on Dec.15

So come over an join in the fun!

P.S. You guys are awesome!

Steve!

Come post that down here, lol:

http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......m=110&27

I'm trying to give away $100! Once someone buys their copy (and Penguin is an awesome place to get it!)- they just need to post their favourite chapter!

I'm trying to get some conversation going down there: almost like a book club, lol:
