My son is having a Valentines Day party at his school and I was asked by a teacher if I would make a small valentines day sculpture for each child to take home.

I only have 260s though and I am unsure of some cool themed stuff that I could make so I was looking for a little bit of help from you guys...

I want to make a big impression but I know they would be happy with me just making some simple hearts.

Thank you all for your help!

Something easy would be a heart flower. Just make a flower stem and add a heart balloon to the top. You can make 12 of them and secure them together with a balloon bow made from a 260 as well. Simple, easy , effective!

Step one...

Inflate a green balloon for the stem of the flower and make 3 loop twists at the nozzle end...

Next, come down about 7" and make two more loop twists...

Finally, inflate a heart balloon and tie it into the top set of 3 loop twists...

This is really fast and very simple.

Anything cute and draw a heart on it with a Sharpie. But make sure it is extra cute!

Don't worry Keith, just flip your geos inside out and they can make passable hearts!

You can easily shape a 260 into a heart shape and then tie that into the top of the stem.

It would probably be worth getting a bag of red hearts from your supplier... There is so many possibilities even when it is no valentines day!

Quite true...there are many distortion techniques out there using hearts and geos to make some really awesome things. It's rare when I use a heart as a heart...lol!

Thanks everyone. Going to end up just attaching a 260 heart to the base.
