I have come across an illusion that I think is neat, but old and I would love some help identifying it and perhaps getting a reference to it from one of you experts.

Thanks

Thanks Twocan - this one also involves mgts - I would love to hear from someone who owns one and I would really like to see some original instructions.

Cheers

It's an "Enardoes mystery paddle".I have two of these, one I carry with me,the other is with my magic collection. These handle very nicely for the paddle move.

Wow. The group s great. Thanks Captain and thanks David. Any instructions or hints of a routine would be wonderful.

Is it written up anywhere?

This is a neat little paddle. Hint for a routine: glue a miniature penny to one side of the paddle, cover that with a shim penny shell, then cover all with a shim nickel shell. You can now show the paddle with nothing on it, then via the paddle move produce the nickel, the regular sized penny, then the miniature penny. I usually end by changing the miniature penny to a dollar sized penny.

Have fun.

Sam Berland also matched this outfit with his own special routine and sold it as a package> I can't remember what he called it. Does anyone else?

(Not many people remember Sam Berland (Chicago) except for his superb wooden thimbles which pop-up on auction sites every now and then. In addition to being a clever and innovative close-up and stage performer, he also owned his own print shop and his instructions were extremely well illustrated and produced.)

AH HA! I found the name: Sam Berland's Progressive Coin Routine.

Rik, if you don't wind-up with instructions PM me your snail mail address and I will make a copy of the original instructions or the Berland routine (whichever I have in file) for you.
