Hey folks, this is not quite magic, but a great optical illusion prank of sorts. The fitting for this robot of cardboard was very fun to build. I figure magicians would dig it. It folds open and forward at the waist and allows me to step in, slide in my upper body and arms, then stand up... therefore closing off completely sealed up. It's pretty cool in person. The arms and legs are hinged. The head rotates.

When the "robot" (me) backs into the space provided, it becomes a stack of boxes. I thought you magicians would appreciate the subtle addition of those upper items above my arms staying in place once I come running. Enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIB6yIl7DGo
