My girlfriend's friend just stumbled across trunks of original 1st editions books and magazines. I have just started to go through them. So far I have found Mahatma volume VI no. 1, 1902 -vol VII 1903. The contents have some great pics and letters from Houdini as well as nice effects. A lot of versions of the gold fish production from a fishing pole, like modern day version of Mac King's routine.
Some other books: 1944 1st edition: Expert Card Technique: Jean Hugard & Frederick Braue 1939 Original Edition: Modern Magic Manusl:Jean Hugard 1891 Original:leaves from Conjurer's Scrap Books: H.J. Burlingame 1947 1st edition: A Conjuring Melange: Stanley Collins These are just a few of many more...kid in a candy store feeling |

Very nice Mike. I collect PDF's of the old books, but to have and to hold the original is very special. There is a lot of nuggets to be mined from those pages. It is funny to find so called original 21st century effects as I study the 19th and early 29th century tombs.
I envy you your find. Pete
