I will be giving away my "Facebook Prediction" effect, to the first 10 PM´s I have. This is an effect I have been working on for a year and now I think its done.
With this effect you can reveal ANY FREELY NAMED CARD on your companies or your personal Facebook account, this will have ben posted weeks, days or even months ago! I do not claim to have created this or invented. I only found a way to make possible a prediction and as far as I know nobody have come up with a method like this. |

This does what it says, is very do-able, and seems real practical. Logical, clean and easy process, and the ebook spells out your easy instructions.
I love the idea of the selection being backdated....that can be made pretty spooky if played right. Bizarrists and sundry Time-Travelers will love this feature. Nice effect for being done on-the-fly. Good clean thinking. Those more familiar with these types of effects will have a better knowedge of any history, and may want to offer up some crediting for others' past attempts along these lines....if there are any. With a bit of thought, you will realize that you are not limited to cards. You can do MANY different types of predictions...all cleanly backdated to your satisfaction! Good clean practical thinking. Thank you for the efforts. And the 5-page eBook is comprehensive and very well done....

Man I really like this
It's a very workable method and oh so simple and easy to use. The manuscript is short and sweet with everything fully explained, it is only 5 pages in total but gives you all you need to be able to start using it. This is definitely not limited to playing cards, and with a bit of thought you could pretty much predict anything (with proof it was predicted at an earlier time). Oscar has a great little thing here that has been well thought through, nice job mate! Clever stuff, cheers. |

Thanks for the Ebook Oscar.
The first thing I thought after I read this work, is that it has a subtle feel of 'Tube' as Justin has stated in an earlier post. That should be taken as a compliment as I have always liked 'Tube'. From the initial reading of this, it does sound workable and very easy to put into practice. Will have to have a play with it over the weekend. Ian. |

I was intrigued and yes is similar as concept to TUBE but is a nice little tool applied to facebook. I think is a nice thinking and very flexible for other ideas...

I am not familiar with Tube so I can't comment on any similarities as others have mentioned.
I can say that this is a workable method. Ask someone to name a card, then show them that you predicted it way ahead of time. English is not Oscar's first language, but the few grammatical errors don't in any way prevent the reading or understanding of the manuscript. Nice thoughts from Oscar here. Steve |

Oscar kindly sent me a copy of his pdf.
After setting things up I tried the trick today. It works and is totally baffling. In fact the idea is brilliant. You can predict pretty much anything and prove that your prediction was made in the past. Thanks Oscar. You're a great guy.

Oscar sent me a review copy as well...thank you for your generosity here on the Café Oscar.
While I think it's a very solid, doable method, I don't think I would use it in the way he describes in the E-Book. I think I would use this to help close a gig with a decision maker by personalizing the prediction (name, company name, etc.), and maybe even a date and/or time if the meeting or phone call was scheduled in advance. The second way I think this might be very useful would be to use it in a stage show where you use the entire audience to randomly choose a card and at the end of the show, pass out a business card or postcard with the prediction link printed on it. Again, personalizing it to that performance, name of venue and date, etc., would make it more powerful since the prediction was "posted" long before the actual performance. This would also allow for the dirty work to be done immediately after the show backstage as well or by an assistant at that point in the show. This would allow you to add a good percentage of that audience to your Facebook. simply ask them on the postcard that if they enjoyed the prediction they made to like the page and/or friend you on Facebook. There have been a lot of ways developed to try to get people to connect to you as a performer via Facebook, this one has them right there on Facebook seeing an effect happen that they helped to create. If ever there was a time they would friend you, I think that would be it. This could cost some money in printing but for a corporate performer doing an important stage show for the company execs or a corporate network event where there are decision makers from many companies present, it would be worth the expense. Now that I think of it, you could also use this at a Trade Show and get the company hiring you to pay for the postcards. Instead of liking and/or friending you on Facebook, they connect with the company and/or product. On a separate note, I did not read "Tube" by Mr. Messina, but I did immediately think of that effect when I started to read the description of this one. Also, there are no credits or acknowledgements given in this E-Book, perhaps Oscar you should consider adding that if and when you release this to the magic community. Overall a nice concept...well done Oscar. Hank |
