Greeting [s] Steven!
This is a long distance call! --You're a long way from me here in Michigan, (USA)!

My knowledge of "Far Eastern" languages is minimal! I think you'll get along just fine. Your English is as good as many native Americans who reside in the US!

Be sure to read the posts for NEW MEMBERS. It will help you get acquainted quickly.

Write another note and tell the folks here a little more about yourself.

Best wishes

Dick

Welcome redspadesmagic,

Hey wait a second, "Red Spades?" what are you trying to pull?! LOL

Your English seems fine. Sadly, it is better than many native speakers here.

How did you start in Magic?

Hello Dick & Mary Mowder,

Thank you for the compliment Smile

Yeah Dick, it's so far from my place. Thanks to this Café that can connect people from around the world that share interest in Magic ^^

I'm not trying to pull anything Mary Mowder Smile
Someday I drew this in paper:

And when I turned it upside down the heart and the diamond become like spades but in red colour. I like something unique and different. So I decided to use "Red Spades". Smile

How I start in Magic?
In my childhood, I like watching Magic at my local TV program. In 2009 I found out that I can learn Magic from internet and online magic shop. Since then I start learning and bought magic stuff.

I like the reaction, the smile from people watching me perform Magic. And that's how Magic become my hobby.
I hope someday I can be a pro/semi pro.

Nice to meet you Dick & Mary Mowder

Steven
