This is a project Pinnacle Spades has been working on, it is three separate routines of the classic Hofsinzer plot. It will be an instant download on Penguin Magic. There is also a bonus ace production that is practically angle proof and incredible visual. Erik Casey

For those who don't know Sebastian you will soon. He is one of the underground guys of Orlando and he is freakin talented. He actually performs Alex Geisers Prodigy and Kostya Roadrunner cull and makes them look easy!
He is became hooked on the hofizner plot and he releasing three of them on this download. Also the ace production Erik mentioned above looks really good for those guys who like visual ace productions. I am exited Sebastian is getting out there and look forward to his other creations. Ryan Schlutz |

So here is the full demo video now, and not just the teaser video. It shows all three routines in full with no flashy editing, because we believe that is how magic demo videos should be done. The amount of people cutting out the effect with editing, or not showing it performed with a live audience it just wrong, and magic shouldn't be sold that way. At any rate, enjoy these effects, the anthology will only cost $9.95. Pretty cheap for the amount of magic you're getting, in my opinion.

The whole pretentious project blah blah blah falls flat, if you can't even spell the name of Hofzinser correctly.
In my ever growing collection I have already Hofzinger, Hofsinger, Hofszinger, Hoftzinger, Hofsinzer, Hoffzinger, Hoffzinser, Hofziner, Hofzinzer and Hofzingser - they have all been posted here at the Magic Café. No, no, no! It's H O F Z I N S E R. Thank you. @Ryan, "thanks" for the latest addition to my collection: to come up with hofizner is really quite an accomplishment. I'm doing versions of the plot for more than 20 years now. I'm not impressed. The tricks by the way look awfully familiar and the handling is a bit too fidgety for my taste. Research is not cool enough for the magic underground guys, right? |

Uli: No problem. I heard you had a collection so I figured I would add one to the list.

And the majority of all the new stuff which keeps rolling in here day after day is, well, just new and mostly not even that. I believe, there's already way too much highly derivative and/or mediocre stuff on the market. They are free to sell the stuff, they are free to cash in on the lack of knowledge of most (young) magicians, but I'm also free to tell everybody, that the emperor has no clothes. But take Ryan for example: he not only provided me generously with a new item for my Hofzinser-spelled-wrong-collection, he also came up with a fine peek technique, which I bought a couple of months ago and which gets my highest recommendation. Well Ryan, there you have it. Seems, I hate you too. |

Uli: Dang, just when we started to get along.
I appreciate the goods words on the peek. I would also like to contribute Hoffsingner. Ryan |

Now, I talked to Sebastian on why he chose the spelling that he wanted, and he said simply because he originally misspelled it when he sent me the titles for editing. We didn't realize it was misspelled, and for that I thank you for bringing it to our attention.

I hope this DVD doesn't stay underground...Easily a "5 star" DVD. Four killer routines with something for everyone.
2 effects are easier and the other two require some advanced sleight of hand but everything is taught in detail. Penguin has the DVD and it is available for Penguin flat-pack shipping. It can ship anywhere worldwide for free. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/3694 |

One suggestion I would make to Pinnacle Spades when their making a trailer is to bring down the music so you here the performer better. The music is way too hot. I hope the video isn't done the same way.

I collect versions of the Hofshinzer plot and and I have to say that these three, from what I can tell, offer some interesting creative differences from what's usually done. As far as I know anyway. The production is purdy too!
Like Ryan said, you will know Sebastian's name soon enough. The kid is tenacious and creative. He's also one of the few magicians I know that take criticism, listen I it, think about it, then make a judgement call. Most cant do even the first step. |

Well said Sword! He does take criticism better than anyone I know. He will
test out your advice on a live audience to fully understand it and then make an educated adjustment. To me that one attribute will make him successful. Ryan |
