I love being a know it all To prove it ,here's some completely useless trivia which will be proof I am a know it all!!!
Christopher Columbus had blond hair. (this doesn't suprise me as he did get lost.) George Washington's false teeth were made of hippoptamus ivory. (not wooden like most think.) An average adult spends 11-13 mins in the shower. (Or enough for 3-4 songs.) In Alaska, it is illegal to look at a moose from the window of an airplane or any other flying object. ( we have to make sure aliens know this rule I suppose) Cats have 2 sets of vocal cords - one for purring, and one for meowing. (Uses for claws are another matter.) The most popular sheet- music song of all time was : Yes, We Have No Banana's . (Not sung by the Monkees, in case you were wondering.) There are 336 dimples on a regulation golf ball. (Wonder who thought to count them?) Earthworms have five hearts. ( I know some people that don't have one.) Mosquitoes are more likely to bite you if you've just eaten a banana. (See it's a good thing to sing that song!) In 1955, a book was returned to the Cambridge University library that was 288 years overdue. (Makes note to self to remind people at my library that in comparison I'm not so bad.) New Freckles generally stop appearing after the age of 19-20. ( I think you get a bit of a reprieve then age spots start! ) A "funambulist" is a tight rope walker. (would be fun to try this term out with friends and say you've decided to become one.) A person who is starving can obtain nourishment by chewing on his/her shoes. Leather has enough nutritional value to sustain life for a short time. ( I can now visualize many magicians searching their closets just in case!) Well that's enough trivia to pass on, so that you too can be a know it all. Hope to hear from others. |

Chrystal,
Here's one for you... Spaceship Earth, the landmark of EPCOT in DisneyWorld: If it was an actual golf ball, the entire state of Florida would be a Par 4. Robert Bloor

How can you tell if a Zebra Is black with white stripes or is white with black stripes'
The color of the Zebras Ears determine black or white , that is if a Zebras ears are black then the Zebra is black with white stripes and visa versa. Lo |

If you have 3 quarters, 4 dimes and four pennies, you have $1.19. You also have the largest amount of money in coins without being able to make change for a dollar.
Most lipstick contains fish scales (sorry Chrystal). The Boeing 747’s wingspan is longer than the Wright brother’s first flight. All of the clocks in the movie “Pulp Fiction” are stuck on 4:20 A goldfish has a memory span of 3 seconds. The reason a goldfish swims back and forth across the fish bowl all day is because by the time it gets to the other side of the bowl it forgets what’s on the other side. Every trip is a new adventure! Hey, I wonder what’s over there! Hey, I wonder what’s over there! The Guinness book of world records holds the record for being the most often stolen book from public libraries. In a study of 200,000 ostriches over 80 years, no one reported a single case were an ostrich buried its head in the sand or attempted to do so. More than 50% of the people in the world have never made or received a phone call. A lot of photocopier faults worldwide are caused by people sitting on them and photocopying their buttocks. “The sixth sick sheikh’s sixth sheep’s sick” is said to be the toughest tongue twister in the English language. And for those of you out there that are my age, can you remember how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop? 3. 1-2-3. CRUNCH!

2.An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. 3.We all have too much time on our hands. |

CRUNCH! to prove how much of a loser I am. when I was a kid, around 8 I think, I actually counted how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. it was something like 500 or 5000, I can't remember, but I am pretty sure there was a 5 somewhere. |

~ Hebetate - To become stupid or boring (I'm both)
~ Japan did a 10 year study to see if eartquakes were caused by the movement of catfish tail fins. ~ It is impossible to sneeze with your eyes open (I've tried) ~ Supposedly you can not fold a piece of paper (any size) in half more than 7 times (I did 8 once but it was not easy) ~ In the 19th century it was believed that your soul was trying to escape when you sneezed, thus the response "God Bless you," to keep it in. ~ Same time period woman had to make a cross over their mouth, with their index fingers, when they yawned or evil spirits might try to enter their body.

Sharks are the only fish who don't lay eggs.
The most human deaths by an animal attack each year are caused by hippos. The Earth gains approx. 4 tons of space debris each year. You will unknowingly eat 9 lbs. of insects in your lifetime. If you didn't have skin mites living in your skin to eat waste out of your pores, you would die from infections. If you soak a single cigarette in a glass of water, the water would have enough concentrated nicotine in it to poison a full grown person to death. The song "Happy Birthday To You" is copyrighted by two old ladies. In Elizabethan period Europe, it was extremely fashionable for ladies to carry long sticks with small rakes on the ends to scratch the bugs on their scalps under their wigs. During the times of the Black Plague, Nostradamus was run out of a city for suggesting that doctors boil fresh water to clean the sores. |
