you are totally right. same as I would do a gimmicked swiss chocolate. better to use a common item. but what if the spectator swallows the gimmicked mint? will he start to move like a remote controlled dog? LOL 100 Bucks could be afterwards easily been retrieved, if you follow the Spectator to the Toilet:)

Quote: That's an expensive poop, there is a smooth cleanup in which the spectator can eat the mint.

I've been intrigued by this for a while but like many others here, I can seem to get over the $100 price of entry. A cool effect though to be sure.

I held back for the price as well. However, I finally decided to get it. I see why it has such a high price. It comes with a gimmicked mint box as well as several other gimmicked pieces. These must have taken quite a while to make. It is also an effect that you can't easily make, so in addition to the valuable information, there are some gimmicks you would have a very difficult time making. In addition, the gimmicks could be used for a variety of other effects with things other than mints.

I take Movemint with me when I go out for dinner. After the meal while waiting for the check I start moving the mint and the waitress freaks when she walks up. Fun effect to say the least.

Just got this today. Admittedly I bought it off someone selling it so got it for £40. Great effect. Need to get some fresh mints though as the ones it came with, look out of date somehow, with yellow spots. So think I'll order some more before performing.
Routines are very well constructed though and the gimmicks are really well thought out. The box is ingenious. I don't quite get how the spectator feels the mint in their hand before it vanishes though? The DVD didn't touch on that he just said they may or may not feel it. Anyone know the psychology of why the spectator feels the mint in their hand? I feel like I need to know this in order to play on it properly. |

Just managed to get my hands on a copy! Anyone know why this is no longer made?

Used to do this all the time. Put it away and recently pulled it out only to find that the 'key piece' along with the fle****d it's in is GONE ! Can't find it anywhere and it's killing me cuz I'd love to start doing this again.
