Yes, I was able to stream from other sites. That's why I was concerned that there may be a glitch at Penguin.
Whatever the problem was, it's fixed now. The lecture I purchased is streaming, and the download all of a sudden sped up and is now fully downloaded. Weird. Anyhow, as I mentioned in my post earlier, I do wish Penguin would list the contents of the lectures. |

Thanks for sharing your experience, Dr Van Van.
It sounds like a combination of 1. The network speed somewhere between you and us 2. The lecture you chose may be particularly long (thus large). Some have been 4 hours (2GB file) 3. Maybe a temporary network outage somewhere in the path between us. We use one of the world's fastest and most reliable content distribution networks, so it's not often that we have problems, so if your internet is fast, I'd simply try again sometime soon. If you still have problems, check out http://www.speedtest.net/ and tell me what your connection speed is to the point nearest you. Thanks again for sharing your experience, Acar |
