Say g'night Dick.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Vance never liked the fact that her onscreen husband, played by Frawley, was 22 years older than she was. Furthermore, producers of the show wanted her to look frumpy and matronly to make her marriage to Frawley's Fred Mertz more believable. Early on, Frawley allegedly overheard Vance complaining about having to work with a man that was old enough to be her father. That set the tone for a feud between the two that lasted for the run of the series. According to imdb.com, upon learning of Frawley's death in 1966 while she was dining out, Vivian Vance ordered a round of champagne for everyone at her table |

My two favorite of all time come from MASH.
My second favorite is as Sidney leaves he says; "Ladies and Gentleman, take my advice. Pull down your pants and slid on the ice." My first is to me one of the most profound statements about war I have ever heard. Henry Blake says; "In command school the taught us two rules. Rule number 1 is that in war young men die. The second rule is that Doctor's can't change rule number 1." |
