Although it's a Canadian question, it's not a CAM one, so I believe this is the right forum where to ask it.
When I lived in France, I knew of magicians who'd gather every week to every month, often in a pub or restaurant, to have a drink or a meal, and to do magic altogether. In Japan (Tokyo), magicians would gather some week end afternoons in a magic shop and chit-chat there as well, quite informally. Now that I am in Vancouver, I can't sem to find such gathering. Only the CAM/IBM which require membership and recommendations... For the moment, I'm looking for something much more casual... Is there any such thing here?
