For any interested parties...
You can find one now at big auction. I've never seen one come up before. |

What makes this one different than the other wonder windows?

It is identical to the regular Tenyo with the exception of the instructions and the fact it vwas packaged in a poly bag versus the normal blister pack.

If you find a sealed, mint condition Doug Henning, Floating Lady please let me know.
I would probably trade my sealed, mint condition Telesphere for one. * Or if someone has a mint, sealed Golden Sphinx from Magic Wagon. |

There is no difference: a Wonder Window is a Wonder Window. Just because someone stuck it in a plastic bag with a different set of instructions doesn't make it different.

I have 2 or 3 BNIP Henning Wonder Windows and a GEM MINT BNIP carded Wonder Window in my collection.
While the Henning version is the exact same trick, it does warrant collector distinction for those who collect Tenyo BNIP. Like it or not, there are fewer Henning packaged tricks than regular packaged tricks of the same type. Since the Henning set carried with it the intent to produce a seperate Tenyo magic set baring Henning's name and due to the odd individual release of the tricks to the public, there is a collector premium for the Henning packaged tricks to certain collectors. |

I prefer to collect the trick, not the package or instructions.
In fact I think BNIB should reduce the value of the item, because who wants a toy they cant play with? And as far as the beauty of the package, come on, it's a box with a picture. Is a Cheerios box special? Captain Crunch? There, I've said it. Call me crazy (OK, you're crazy). |

Your points are all valid.
I just prefer 2 of every trick if I can get them, 1 to play with and 1 BNIP. That's the fun of collecting, there's no right way to do it. There are smarter ways to collect, but no definitive way of collecting. |

I will repeat: every single one of the 12 tricks that were supposed to go into the three Doug Henning magic sets are identical to the normal Tenyo versions because THEY ARE the normal Tenyo versions: the were simply purchased from Tenyo's stock. The only one that's different is Floating Lady, which has Doug's caricature instead of the generic magician.
I have had good luck piecing together the story behind what can only be described as the fiasco involved in the creation and marketing of these sets. It will be in the book. |

Actually Richard there is a difference between a Henning tod and a Tenyo tod, the difference is the part attached to the keychain if you hold it up to the light the Henning version will be black [opaque] and the standard tenyo version will have some translucency to it. Also mr k if you have Henning tricks that have been taped up this means they are used!! all the henning tricks my friends and I have are pollybagged and sealed, thank yo john mazza for the tod info, much appreciated.

I have one (luckily) and put it up on eBay a while ago. No one wanted it for the price which I thought was very fair.

Mazza is incorrect regarding whether the the Tenyo tricks with Henning instructions are used or new if they're poly bagged versus taped shut. I know, because I've spoken to the person who liquidated all the stock.
