I understand that Bob and Lobo, being attorneys, see this differently, but as a layman I can't see a downside to the convicters (I know, I made it up) asking questions to the convictee. |

Based on the evidence the State submitted, I would have found her not guilty if I was on the jury. |

If they can not do that, whether the person committed the crime or not, it is not the job of the jury to use "common sense" and "fill in the holes" for the State. That's what the State essentially asked the Casey Anthony jury to do. They were wise enough to see past the nonsense and do the right thing, even if their common sense or gut instinct told them otherwise. |

That's my point, Robert. It's nearly impossible to sell self defense given the multiple stabbings, shooting and throat slashing. But if the defense used that as evidence of extreme rage, it could be an effective way to disprove the premeditation and deliberation that the prosecution needs to prove for first degree murder.
BTW, I agree with you regarding the Anthony verdict. |

Jurors use "common sense" to decide whether their doubts are reasonable.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley. "...as we reason and love, we are able to hope. And hope enables us to resist those things that would enslave us." |

Maybe he died after one stab in self defence and she just decided to do a bit of mutilation of the body after.

Her best chance is to nobble the jury.

He was twice her size, and If she did not finish him off with the first knife wound he would have fought back. This pure evil woman just had fun mutilating his body. Off with her head. Robert Smith Welcome to earth.

The defense says she shot him first, but that still remains to be proven.
Tommy I don't think that eating jurors is legal.

After yesterdays testimony Jody ran out of smart ass answers, and sealed her fate. The time line took her latest story apart.

Judging from some past high profile cases, I wouldn't want to bet on the jury getting it right.
