Does anyone have this hardcover collection of Epilogue by Fulves? It's 312 pages. I seldom read about anyone mentioning this. I understand it is mostly cards, as opposed to his Chronicles collection. It suggests the tricks use advanced sleight-of-hand (I don't do faros). Thanks!

Thanks, Peo. Is there a lot of good card material in it? What about level of difficulty? I imagine there's the usual assortment of sandwich, ace assemblies, card revelations, prediction tricks, etc. Do you have a couple of favorites from Epilogue? Thanks!

Epilogue is, indeed, more advanced than Pallbearers. But it contains plenty of strong routines within the grasp of the intermediate card worker. Of the series released (Pallbearers, Epilogue and The Chronicles), Epilogue is the favorite of many "name" cardmen. Well worth your attention.

If you want to zero in and be a card master, then this is the stuff but you need a solid foundation. From what I remember, there are lots of effects that use the faro.
It's academia for card study, but academia sometimes isn't very pragmatic when wanting to learn "workers" for performance, unless you're performing for other strong card handlers. I didn't get much from it other than some insight on the half-pass. Others love this stuff, but the effects detailed didn't match my style. |
