Great job, Lance. Love it! Effortless and move-less. And I love the music choice too!

Thanks, everyone! Yeah, this was an attempt to get away from the standard pick up of the shell (in fact, for most of the routine, it never moves), while trying to help the pacing of the thing. The video is actually several years old, and I've refined the handling a little more since then.
And...it's probably easier to do, technically, than the original method. |

Yes, very well done Lance. Looks great. Do you teach this?

Hi, Marion,
Thanks for the kind words. I can teach this, but I would have thought the workings would be obvious to you, since it uses pretty easy techniques we all know. If it has a certain look to it, it's not because of the moves but because of when you do and don't relax. Best, Lance |

No, the moves were obvious to me, but I admired how well you made the overall effect look from the original. Guess I was more admiring your technique and finesse with it all.
Just the same, very good job man.

I like the routine.
Do you use that tabled acquitment in other routines? Also, how angle sensitive is the hands empty display? Published references for those items could help the gang expand their horizons, per the OP request.

Vinny - Glad you like it.
Jonathan - Not sure if you're referring to me, and I don't really have anywhere to point the gang except to an old episode of Breaking Vegas where a cheat was swapping out "chocolates" for lesser valued chips in a stack. That's where I got the idea. If it could work with different colored chips, then it'd be undetectable in a stack that was all the same color. I don't know if it's an acquitment exactly, but I'll bow to your greater knowledge. Angle sensitivity isn't an issue, but you do have to make sure you don't leave windows. |

I like both versions as both are very smooth, but Vince's one appears to me as being more open and the magic more clearly caused which I find psychologically important.

What exactly is the definition of a translocation?
I can't find a description/definition on the Café' or in the few books I own. |
