The first thing that came to my mind was soaking up the Word of God. Or maybe if you spilled (you sinned) something, you can use the spongebible to wipe (help you not sin) it up. I'm just thinking out loud.

It's made of sponge to be compressable to be produced from something.Won't fit in my chick pan(don't have a dove pan)and that doesn't sound right anyways.Like the drying off after baptism though(haha!).

Terry: LOL!
Captain: Do you have a Squared Circle or other production type prop? That would be ideal.

I have two square circles Mike, but they are too small.Nice suggestion though.I have dug out one of those rip-apart change bags and think I will use that(some how).I have never been a big fan of the square circle. One of the square circles I have just recently picked up at an estate auction(old).I have taken pics of the items I have obtained at this auction and am trying to figure out how to post them on the "oldies but goodies" section.I am not computer saavy and my daughter has moved away(my computer helper.)

I have simply folded it down and p*lmed it in the same hand that I casually hold a large 36" patterend/printed silk. I show the silk "empty" on both sides and drape it over my "hold-out". After some discussion about our topic for the program, I whisk the silk away to reveal the sponge Bible in it's unfolded state. I used this as an intro to my program on the importance of God's Word.
I have a Bible that looks the same - so, I just switch it out eventually and continue on from there. (this Bible also looks the same as my flaming Bible... So I switch it out for my real Bible later as well during those programs) You can lightly wet the sponge Bible and it will produce much better without looking warped from being folded and squished up. ---Blessings |
