The original ET made hardly any noise unless your ear was ankle level I can't see it ever being heard I've never had anyone comment in noise .
I still use my ET and haven't had any problems with it ,the power I found varied regardingwhat you were standing on but to be honest was powerful enough. To operate its as easy as tapping your foot . And portability if it means I won't have to cut into the sole of every different shoe I wear them great count me in but until I no this for certain I won't be ordering . I don't understand why simple questions regarding the new version are going unanswered ????? |

Well, if they don't want to answer any questions reguarding their product then they probably aren't gonna sell that many pre-orders. So I guess we will just sit and wait until pre-orders are done and customer service can then give more info or wait for reviews from the people that bought them :/

If this is half as good as the Spider Pen or the Tarantula....
Anyone who buys this is a grade A idiot. No offense, but seriously. I don't think enough time has elapsed since his last scam. He must be desperate for cash. DD |

LOL. At least I said Grade A.
It's always good to be good at something. If I had more than enough money I may buy it just to look at it. That's how he sells his toys. They're designed to look good on your desk or bookshelf from what I can gather. DD Quote:

Don. I haven't seen that in sometime and it's as funny as it is frightening. That clip may have inspired Will Ferrell's impersonation of him.

Yigal seems to be quite hit or miss. I absolutely love my Spider Pen Pro, but the original and Tarantula were naught to write home about. That seems to be just one example.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I'm actually quite shocked to be reading all these negative reviews about Yigal and his releases. I've loved everything I've ever bought from him! He's been a stand up guy and customer service was good. He personally called me to help with an issue a couple years back too. Pretty cool.
Maybe I'm missing something, but all the other threads I've seen on the Café seem to indicate he's got great customer service. CLEARLY I don't understand the aversion to answering simple questions about a product - but I haven't seen a bad track record by any means. On the contrary, he's gone the extra mile to make things right for people and has a LOT of testimonials to back that up. I'm not saying this new release will be awesome, but I don't think it will be garbage. If you are looking for something that will work miracles, stop looking for magic effects. lol. They are always knacky. Once you get used to that, use your own creativity and make it work for you. I loved Tarantula. Used it for a while in walk-around gigs (though I don't do many anymore). He made IT work a WHOLE lot more practical for most of us. Lots of good things coming from Yigal. Just wanted to speak to the "positive" for a while.

Absolutely Matt,
I have almost every product Yigal Mesika has ever made. Anytime I email him, I get a response within 24 hours. I think some people here have an agenda. I will be buying this so I will give it a review. James Quote: On 2013-03-15 17:14, Matt Adams wrote:

However, one would think that he would at least jump in here, as he already did earlier on this thread to promote it, to address some of these questions/concerns as to it being an ‘improvement’? Also, would it not only be fair to offer some type of discount to those who have already purchased his first version (with proof of purchase of course)? Hey... just a thought, and my three cents worth (inflation ya know).

I've been watching the trailer, working up some possible routines with this thing.
I cued this up to play at 1:37. Yigal has a guy and his girl touching their fingers. But Yigal his holding the man's wrist and it happens. Very interesting. http://youtu.be/-VcPTFQUnPg?t=1m37s What if....You have the girl peek a card. She never says what it is, but is told to concentrate on the card. Direct her to hold up a finger and touch it to her husband or girlfriends finger, as in the demo. The husband or her girlfriend touches your finger ( maybe your forehead? ). The charge happens and you can call the card ( or a name if using a peek wallet , etc. ). So, you are using the person in the middle as a conduit for the thought transference. Based on that demo moment at 1:37, you could do this. if it could be done, I would get this just for that routine. |

Zombie, that example was exactly what the first model was primarily used for.
I still have the original Electric Touch and use it on occasion. It's not nearly as hefty a piece of gear as people are making it out to be. I'd be curious to see what improvements are evident in the + model, as I don't really find anything wrong with the original at all. It's a fun way to supplement the mentalism you already do... RS.

To those who never tried the original electric touch: "shocking" people may sound silly to you, perhaps because you see shocking as a silly annoying prank. But when I was utilizing the original electric touch (it's been a few years now), even the most skeptical audience members began to "believe". I would be out with a friend of mine, and he developed this opening story about me that he would tell, explaining that I had survived being struck by lightening when I was a child. Since then, I had developed strange powers using electricity. If a skeptic doesn't believe the story, feel free to touch my forehead or arm for proof! Everybody will hear and see the shock.
I would have a woman take a bar napkin and have her attempt to stick it to a wall. The napkin would fall to the ground. I had her pick it back up and attempt to stick it onto the wall again, this time while holding my hand. The napkins sticks to the wall. The audience was blown away. Your "given" powers of harnessing electricity could provide a logical explanation to your audience for your PK effects that you may already do. To me, the electric touch is a utility device used as a convincer to have your audience believe that maybe you do have some strange supernatural powers or abilities, and maybe they should, even for a brief moment, believe that what they just saw you perform could be real magic.
The performance is what really makes it all worth while.

People who live in tropical and humid places like Texas have no idea what a static shock is.
Try living in Canada for a while. Or Arizona. It is a completely different thing. We're talking a loud CRACK sound, sparks 1/2 inch long and PAIN! You actually feel a kick in your finger like you fired a gun. Depending where you use that device the intensity will vary a lot. And it will never be any good in very humid climates. I suspect the people who think sparks are all fun and games and can do no harm live in humid areas. DD |
