Good strategy there. After ten years, every finding of non-WMDs becomes evidence that all WMDs are in Syria. What color did Hempel say ravens are again?

Somewhat more plausible might be that they weren't intended for use against the US, which would assure that Hussein and the country would be obliterated rather than war-torn, but that he still wanted to retain them for future use against other enemies, such as e.g. Iran. Apart from ravens, there is the simple fact that a verdict of "not guilty" does not equate to a verdict of "innocent." I didn't express certainty that WMD were moved to Syria; I have simply expressed curiosity and skepticism about your (and Al's) certainty that they weren't. "ISG judged that it was unlikely that an official transfer of WMD material from Iraq to Syria took place" but also acknowledging that there was evidence "about movement of material out of Iraq, including the possibility that WMD was involved," and that this evidence was "sufficiently credible to merit further investigation." IAG noted that, due to security concerns, it "was unable to complete its investigation and is unable to rule out the possibility that WMD was evacuated to Syria before the war."

The amazing thing is we use our WMDs to dictate to others who can and who can't have them.
Peace and Godspeed.

It was a truly bipartisan screw-up. Do you feel better? The larger point is that the US went to war based on trumped up, false facts. And your media was complicit. Do you ever wonder why 99.9% of the rest of the world sat the Iraq War out? Because most of the rest of the world did not wear the blinders that so many in the States wore (and judging from this thread, that many continue to wear to this day), and they recognized that the allegations against Iraq were largely crapola.

Wow you get testy when facts just don't fit your liberal rant don't you? I am not disputing it was a dumb move. I stated it was a bi partisan screw up. I am disputing the idiotic liberal claims that it was all Cheney and Bush. I am disputing it was a smart move or justified in the least. You get pretty huffy when you can't just rant about republicans. Sorry to bother you with facts. At least I provided context for the democratic party quotes. Far more fair than you guys ranting and raving.

Think I've posted this Robert Frost poem before:

Check with the IAEA director general Mohamed ElBaradei he does not share your opinion of the alleged WMD violations in Iraq. Perhaps you are quoting the violations reported by that fountain of mis information Dick Cheney.

What is going on in Cuba at the USA concentration camp there? The word the street is that the inmates there are dying of starvation.
