I'm looking for a good manufacturer of this effect in a parlour/stage size for use in change bag or other device - in other words, not in a smaller dye tube, so it can be in a heavier momme. I assume it has red, white and blue silks, regular flag, flag with no blue field, and reverse flag with blue stripes and red field with stars.
Does anyone know of any other false flag gags that are made? |

Hi Bob:
P&A Silks have the heaviest momme that I know of (8 momme). They make a number of mismade flag sets - exactly what you're after. P&A is generally considered the best maker of silks, and they aren't cheap. Their web address is http://www.pasilks.com You may try Rice's Silks as well. I believe their silks are 6 momme and they do make parlour size mismade flag. Their website is http://www.silkkingmagic.com. Again, beautiful silks, but expensive. There are a number of places theat sell a 4 momme mismade flag set for much less. http://www.laflinmagic.com is one very good site. Ron |

Bob,
I have used about everyone's product over the years and I really cannot say enough about the quality of the P&A silks in this product. There is also not a bad one recommended above. Good Luck! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

I have the mismade flag set from Laflin Magic. I really like the routine that came with it. Laflin has a mismade christian flag set. Chris

I spend too much at Duane Laflin's display everytime we go to convention together. He has a lot of great stuff. I load up on silks and sponge balls. Nobody else ever seems to have all the colors at the same time like he does. I have not seen his Mismade Christian flag set. It is good, I'm sure.

I like P and A too. Rice, if they make this, has a reputation too. Duane Laflin runs a class business. I asked him a question or two about a product he made, in reference to an item I made myself. He knew this and explained workings to me for my own use. Also, I bought a palmo and he sent me the whole routine for halfdyed silk at no charge, even though I already had the silks. By the way, last time I checked he sold silks for that, nice ones for $15.

One of the very nice things about this business is that it is loaded with some first class people. Look at us talking about suppliers of silk effects. Rice, P&A, and Laflin are all first class. You can't lose. We should be known by the company we keep. It's good! (Can we feel this good about our banks, autos, internet service providers?)
