I'm going travelling for a couple of months, and would like to take some good magic books with me. I won't have space to carry actual books, so I need books that I can take on a kindle or an iPad. I'm planning on just taking a few decks of cards and some coins to play with. The only books I have right now are the Tarbell Course, Modern Coin Magic and Royal Road to Card Magic. I'm pretty excited to have plenty of time to study some serious stuff, so what books would everyone recommend?

I'm also considering subscribing to Genii magazine - if I do, will I be able to download the magazines onto an iPad for offline viewing? Is the entire back catalogue available in this way?

Thanks so much everyone, I'm looking forward to your recommendations.

L&L Publishing has many of their books in ebook form. Go to their site, you can currently get any of these titles for $10 each:
http://llepub.com/

The Vernon Chronicles, Magic of Michael Ammar, The Close-up Magic of Aldo Colombini and Michael Skinner's Classic Sampler are all excellent.
They have other excellent titles that aren't on special as well.

Go to Peter Duffie's site. He has several outstanding ebooks. Some are strictly on card magic and others have a variety of magic.

It would help to know more about your level and magic likes.

Yes you can access iGenii by subscribing.

You may also want to consider a membership to the Conjuring Arts Research Center:

If you have access to the Internet, this is another thought:
