Hi all!
Christopher T. Magician here, giving the heads up that my new video is now available on Youtube. This video is somewhat low-production-valued compared to previous ones due to a lot of life going on right now But hopefully you'll still find some useful information and ideas. I rushed it out in case anybody needs to fill out their upcoming library show for the summer. This video is a collection of general reading/library routines. There are no routines based on specific children's books, but routines that can be easily (hopefully) worked into any reading show no matter what the theme is. Also, the fourth routine "The Mystery of the $20 Bill" turned out much longer than I anticipated (almost ten minutes!). Let this version be an idea for you to mold, the routine can really be as short or long as you make it. And like I say in the video, I recommend not using "The Mystery of the $20 Bill" and the first routine "Reading Warm-up" in the same show, since the effects are somewhat similar. here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_p7vgTo8ak Or search for Christopher T. Magician Presents! on Youtube and look for the newest episode (episode 7). As always, if anybody has any questions about methods or further info, feel free to message me here or email me at ChristopherTMagicianPresents@gmail.com. Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy and find something useful. Christopher |

Christopher,
I can't wait, I'm sure it's great! You should seriously consider putting out a DVD, you've got some very creative stuff. I bet kids have tons of fun at your shows! Thanks for sharing, Kevin |

Very good!
I LOVE the 6 bookmark repeat!!! Based on standard L&L prices the YouTube episodes are worth at least $230 for the set!

Awesome, as always. The Mystery of the $20 Bill was hilarious. If I had paid for this as a DVD, that would be the one that you'd say was "worth the cost of the DVD alone." When you hit the, "the end," mid way through the routine, I laughed out loud. Thanks so much for this!

Thanks guys. I'm glad you like the $20 mystery. It turned out longer than expected once I recorded it, but I think it has potential to be a showstopper. I'm going to try it in a non library show soon to see how it goes over.

Hey Christopher,
Nice use of music! The opening song is entitled "Miss Direction" and the song used to segue between routines is "Eye On The Ball." Both are from our royalty-free music CD entitled "Make it Magic Volume I." Available on our website. Arthur & Leslie Stead http://www.arthurstead.com |

Oh my gosh! I completely forgot to credit it! I'll add it to the description on YouTube!
Sorry about that! |

This is a great video and really offers a lot of ideas on how to integrate the magic with library and reading themes. It gives me something to shoot for. BTW - Arthur's music was fantastic in the video and Christopher did a great job selecting tracks that matched his needs, I thought. I purchased and used Arthur's Library Show music last year and it served me extremely well. I hope he offers something to fit this years' theme.

Excellent work Christopher - some great concepts in practical use. A dvd set would be well worth the money.

So glad everybody is liking the new video. Thanks for the positive comments! Thinking about getting a professional video of my show made up at a party in the future. But for now I am currently working on a project that I'm very excited about. Will keep you all posted.

Christopher is there anyway to give a donation? I love your shows and it has helped me think about my shows. I think your personality may be rubbing off on me because I tend to get more animated then I once was and it has shown to be a good thing.

Christopher - that was great - I also really enjoyed your bullying message (episode 6). Fantastic stuff.

Thanks Rick and Andy.
And Andy, I'm honored that you would want to make a donation. I've had a number of people message me, saying that I should charge or provide a way to donate as a thank you. I've been thinking about whether or not I would want to take donations for a while, and here's what I came up with: First, I in no way intended to charge or make any money off of this video series. It's just been a fun project that helps feed my creative side (and as a bonus, get to know a lot of great new people). But I have been working on a side project that I'm excited about, and I hope everyone in the children's magic field will be excited about it too. But it will require up front funds that I just don't have. I'll give more info on it soon, but I decided I'm going to start a Kickstarter or Indiegogo type program soon to try to raise funds for it. If anybody has enjoyed the video series and would like to donate, all donations will go toward the fundraising efforts. And in true PBS style, I decided I'm going to provide a special video available to anyone who donates $10 or more. I think the information provided on this video will be worth the ten dollars (there's even going to be a description of a new force I created that is perfect for kidshow audiences, and I'll get to provide methods since the video won't be made public -- that alone I hope will be worth a ten dollar donation). Of course, any donations more than $10 will also be greatly appreciated. As for the upcoming project, the next video, and the donation link, I will give more info about all three in the next month or so (once I've finished filming the video). Thanks again for all the support and kudos over the past year! Christopher T. Magician |

Thanks joe. I'll announce all the links as soon as I get the video together. Don't want people waiting if they donate.
